Remote Learning Work

Homework Folders
Blue Homework Folders should go home and come into our classroom each school day. Please encourage your child to use their homework folder the "correct way." The inside of the folder is labeled RETURN TO SCHOOL on the left pocket and KEEP AT HOME on the right. Please get in the habit of checking your child's homework folder EACH school day. Please clean out the KEEP AT HOME side each day after school.

Halloween, Christmas, and Valentine will be the big 3. Please make sure to have a Volunteer Form turned in if you would like to help out or organize one of these fun events.
Pencil Boxes
Please do not send in 'hard cover' pencil boxes with your child. Soft pencil cases with a zipper are preferred. Thank you.

Popcorn Day
One of the many benefits of being an Ardmore student is popcorn day. Our PTO parents graciously make popcorn at least one Friday each month. There is a one bag limit. There is not a charge for this treat.
Recess
We will try to go outside when the weather allows. Our fifth grade classroom recess times is at 9:45. We will try to have at least one recess each day, and quite possibly two. There is also the lunch recess that we take before eating in the gymnasium at lunch time. That takes place from 11:48-12:36 (about) . Lastly, please provide your student a healthy snack that we will enjoy at

Scholastic Book Clubs
Our classroom online code is GKXWF. This year your child will have the opportunity to purchase books through Scholastic Reading Clubs. Our first order form will go home on Wednesday September 5th. Order forms are due back Monday, September 10th. Please make all checks payable to Scholastic Reading Clubs. You can order books through Scholastic Book Clubs at ANY TIME THROUGHOUT the school year. I will process your orders and get the books in your children's hands quickly.
